Pasadena Fire Dept., Los Angeles County Fire Dept. and Altadena Search and Rescue teams located a 41-year-old Pasadena man who had suffered left ankle and calf injuries, authorities said.

“He’d been hiking when he was struck by a rock,” said Lt. Chad Sauter of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept. Crescenta Valley station.

“There was actually another female hiker who apparently slipped and injured her ankle. They were unrelated to one another, but both were rescued out,” Sauter said.
