Town council applications due Friday

Candidate applications for the up-coming Altadena Town Council Election are due this Friday, May 16. Applications and application fees must be turned in at the Altadena Community Center, 730 E. Altadena Dr, Altadena, CA 91001, by 5 PM.

One seat in each of the 8 census tracts of Altadena is up for election. Election Day is June 7th, 2014, at polling places through-out Altadena to be announced soon, with Early Voting available on June 3rd, 2014, at the Altadena Community Center. More announcements on poling places and times will be made as we get closer to the date.

UPDATE: Per Richard Moon of the Election Committee, some of the literature said the deadline was 4:30 and some 5 PM, and the committee agreed to the later time to cut-off.  However, you avoid these problems by not waiting until the last minute to turn it in!
