Saturday morning gunshots still a puzzler

Altadena sheriff’s deputies are investigating a report of gunshots on Glenrose Avenue early Saturday morning, March 21, 2015, which left two damaged vehicles in its wake.
According to Altadena Sheriff Capt. Christopher Reed, four rifle casings were recovered from the scene. The vehicles sustained damage to their windows and tires.
According to our content partners at Pasadena Now, the Pasadena Police responded to a call of shots fired in the area of Belmont Street and Idaho Avenue at 1:27 AM Saturday. The sheriff’s department received a similar call in the area of Montana Street and Glenrose Avenue at about the same time.
According to Reed, witnesses reported hearing four to five gunshots and a dark colored SUV was seen leaving the area after shots were heard. “We have no further information at this time,” Reed told AltadenaPoint in an email.
