Our media partner Pasadena Now is reporting this morning that law enforcement is investigating reports of shots fired in west Altadena and Pasadena early Thursday morning (Feb. 5, 2015).
According to Pasadena Now, shots were heard about 12:30 AM this morning and Pasadena police were called to North Loa Robles and Highland street, but no physical evidence (such as shell casings or bullet holes) were found.
Altadena sheriff deputies were also responding at about the same time to reports of shots fired at both East Harriet at North Highland Avenue and North Marengo Avenue at Woodbury Road, Pasadena Now is saying. The report sources a Sheriff’s Department spokesperson who says an investigation is continuing.
However, AltadenaPoint calledl in to the Crescenta Valley sheriff station watch commander (who is also covering Altadena’s sheriff station) said that no operations report had been filed about the incident from Altadena.
UPDATE 6-6-15: Altadena Sheriff Capt. Christopher Reed emails us: “We were unable to locate any evidence of a shooting at either location.”
