Four suspects in March 27 robbery and assault

Pasadena Police Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying suspects believed responsible for assaulting and robbing a 87 year Pasadena man as he was on a morning walk on Friday, March 27, 2015 just after 5:00 a.m. The robbery occurred near the Rose Bowl on West Drive, north of Salvia Canyon Road.

Other pedestrians exercising in the area found the victim laying on the ground and called 911. The victim sustained major head trauma and remains in critical but stable condition at a local hospital. It was determined the suspects took a pouch containing currently and personal identification.

Shortly after the robbery, the four suspects were recorded on video at a Pasadena service station attempting to use the victim’s credit card. Pasadena Police obtained the surveillance footage and have attached still photographs of the suspects from the video.

The four possible suspects are described as follows:
1. Hispanic male, 20’s medium build, dark colored hair and beard and wearing a white t-shirt, light colored shorts and tennis shoes.
2. Hispanic male, teens to early twenties, thin built, short black hair and wearing a dark hooded sweater with circular design on the front, light colored shorts and black and white tennis shoes.
3. Hispanic male, 20’s stocky build, thick eyebrows, white t-shirt, dark colored pants.
4. Hispanic female, teens, long brown hair, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with white lettering on the front.

Their vehicle is described as a 2003-04 Honda Accord Coupe, black with a sunroof.
