Find sunlight’s magic as the moon departs,

Imagination—— gives wing to surprise!

Reality adds energy to hearts,

So softly watch the daylight shine and rise!

This star of ours shines bright in season’s change,

So celebrate this marker of our Time!

Unerring and so accurate Earth’s range

Majestically—- Earth’s axis does incline;

Most northern point sun reaches in the sky!

Earth’s daylight marks the longest of the year

Requiem to sweet spring’s green good- by.

Delight in bar-be-cues as season’s here!
