What better place to have a small, intimate concert in Altadena than the Coffee Gallery? That was the thinking of the Altadena Library Alliance which staged a benefit concert Sunday, Sept. 7, to support Measure A, which retains the tax that supports the library district.With MC Bill Burnett handling the details, performers included Duane Thorin, the Licata Brothers, Chauncy Bowers, Cynthia Carle, members of the Pasadena Master Chorale, and more. Proceeds go to the Alliance, which is supporting the extension of the library parcel tax on the November ballot.
