Lake/Mariposa sidewalk sale Saturday

The Altadena Chamber Of Commerce is hosting the first Lake & Mariposa “Summer Sidewalk Sale” on Saturday, August 9, from 10:00am – 4:00pm. The streets will be lined with outdoor tables of merchandise from many participating neighborhood businesses. Great bargains, holiday deals and giant discounts will draw everyone in the community to this exciting event! To keep people in the shopping mood, some local restaurants will also be offering delicious menu items at street- side tables.

Come Early For Best Deals

Many participating stores will have their best savings out early, so make sure to come in the morning for the best bargains. For residents who aren’t familiar with all the stores and restaurants in the Lake/Mariposa District, this is a great opportunity to acquaint themselves with new businesses, such as Mary Falkingham Floral Designs and old favorites like Steve’s Pets and Webster’s Community Pharmacy.

First of Many New Chamber Events

The Lake & Mariposa Summer Sidewalk Sale is the first of many new events offered by the Altadena Chamber. Future plans include other neighborhood events with participating Chamber members on Fair Oaks, Lincoln and other Altadena districts.

“We encourage any interested businesses to contact the Altadena Chamber to learn more about what membership can do for them” said Meredith Miller, Chamber President. “We’re excited to launch this Summer Sidewalk Sale and hope to do similar promotions that reach all Altadena commerce areas down the line.”
