Found: pigeon

Reader Jean has found a pigeon:
The pigeon is probably a pet as it has a blue leg tag. It is injured on one wing. It showed up on my screened porch last night and is confined there with food and water. I called the Pasadena Humane Society emergency line and they will take it in today even though they are closed. I wonder who knows about birds in the area.
