Pasadena Unified School District
The Pasadena Unified School District starts a new year this coming Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, and there a few new things in the mix:
The District opens a new website, http://pusd.us, which includes a link to Nixle to sign up to receive PUSD information by email and/or mobile number. The new website is also supposed to be mobile-friendly.
Also: there will be a teacher training session today, Aug. 13, at Marshall Fundamental High School on the use of 3-D printers. Every school will have a printer this year, according to a press release from PUSD:
This district-wide project was prompted by a generous donor who wanted PUSD students to be given the opportunity to get their hands on next-gen technology and learn the creativity and collaboration skills needed for the jobs of tomorrow.
