Educate Our State to hold Pasadena rally May 16

“Educate Our State” is having a rally on Friday, May 16, at The Shops on Lake, 345 South Lake Avenue in Pasadena from 8:30-10 AM:

We will be raising awareness and reaching out and telling our state leaders that we want the opportunity to vote on whether property taxes allocated to education should go to education, and ask them to put a measure on the ballot to Let Us Vote. Learn more about the measure here. Educate Our State is backing an initiative to prohibit the state from redirecting or reducing the allocation of local property tax revenues designated for K-12 public schools and community college districts.
