Curbside cleanup days start June 14

Athens Services has announced the dates for its annual curbside cleanup, in June and July 2014.

Residents can pile bulky or extra items on the curb to be removed at no extra charge. Such items include furniture, appliances, up to two tires, electronic equipment, bagged yard waste and bundled tree branches (48 in. maximum length) and extra bagged trash.

Light bulbs, batteries, and household hazardous waste will not be accepted.  Call Athens’ customer service if you have questions: 888-336-6100.

Pickup begins at 6 AM.  Pickup days are on Saturdays, determined by your regular pickup day.

Mondays:  June 14

Tuesdays: June 21

Wednesdays: June 28

Thursdays: July 12

Fridays: July 19
