CERT offers classes in January at Loma Alta Park

The Los Angeles County Fire Department is offering Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training at Loma Alta Park during the month of January.Classes will be held on three Saturdays, January 17, 24, and 31, 2015, at the Loma Alta Park Community Room, 3300 N. Lincoln Avenue.  All classes run from 9 AM-4 PM, and are free.

The course covers disaster preparedness, fire safety, light search and rescue operations, and more.

There is no charge for CERT classes, but registration is required and youj must attend all three sessions to receive a certificate of completion.
