Roy Boulghourjian won the Pasadena Unified Board’s District 2 seat in Tuesday’s election, representing a district that includes east Altadena.

Boulghourjian received 1,568 votes, or 67.9 of the ballots.  Challengers Evan Dagger received 379, and Marciela Rojas received 360.

PUSD District 4 has gone to Patrick Cahalan (814) over Sheryl Turner (660).  District 6, a hotly-contested seat in Sierra Madre, went to Larry Torres (1566) over Sandra Siraganian (1153).

In Pasadena, Terry Tornek is the new mayor. Tyron Hampton in District 1, the only contested seat, is the winner there.

CORRECTION: Reading the estimable Ann Erdman, there  will probably be a runoff for mayor and District 1, as neither candidate received a majority.  Tornek will face off against Jaque Robinson, and Hampton against Calvin E. Wells.
