Our content partner Pasadena Now is reporting that an Altadena deputy was injured and two patrol cars damaged responding to a call for assistance Wednesday morning.
Quoting Pasadena Police Lt. Mark Goodman, Pasadena Now reports that an Altadena deputy was on a traffic stop at about 11:51 at Washington Boulevard just west of North Hill Avenue and called for assistance. A responding sheriff’s patrol car and a civilian car collided at the intersection. Three cars were involved — including two patrol units — and five patients , including one deputy, were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries.
This was the second accident in the area this morning. A car going northbound on the 1100 block of North Hill Avenue crashed into a parked car and flipped over at about 10:40 AM. The two male occupants suffered minor injuries.
