Drivers 50 and older can register for a two-day AARP Smart Driver Course Saturdays, March 21 and 28, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pasadena Senior Center.
The program offers the nation’s largest refresher course designed for older drivers. Learn how to reduce the likelihood of being involved in an accident, how aging and health-related conditions can affect driving abilities and how to adjust to allow for these changes. After completion of the course, participants may be eligible for insurance discounts.
The cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members. Pre-registration at the Welcome Desk with check or money order is required. For more information call 626-795-4331.
Founded in 1959, the Pasadena Senior Center is an independent nonprofit agency that offers recreational, educational, wellness and social services to people ages 50 and older in a friendly environment. Services are also provided for frail, low-income and homebound seniors.
