“Feed the Weed” is NewTown’s 20th anniversary event

NewTown, the Altadena-based “persistant weed in the garden of art,” will celebrate its 20th anniversary with an afternoon of art installations, spoken word, performances, and live music on Satuday, April 25, 2015.
The event is also a fundraiser to support NewTown’s working artists and future programming, or as their press release says, “So please help FEED THE WEED while celebrating in our garden of art!”
Tickets are $40 general, $25 for NewTown members, and children under 12 are free (but note that there may be adult content). The event will be held at a private home in the Arroyo Seco, and the address will be emailed to you the night before.
Tickets are available online at www.newtownarts.org, by mail (before April 15) at 2259 Country Club Drive, Altadena, CA 91001, or pay at the door (reservation required to get address). If you pay onlne, you will be enrolled in a raffle for a gourmet dinner for two tailored to your preferences and dietary needs by host and NewTown founder Richard Amromin.
Art and Cds will be for sale at the event.
