A Medicare and Medi-Cal Walk-Through Comes to the Bob Lucas Library Monday

A representative from the Center for Health Care Rights covers costs, coverage and coordination in the Reading Court at 11 a.m.

The Bob Lucas Memorial Library and Literacy Center gives over an hour on Monday morning to Medicare and Medi-Cal. A representative from the Center for Health Care Rights gives the presentation, and it runs from 11 a.m. to noon in the Bob Lucas Reading Court.

The session is one of a series of workshops the branch holds with the Center for Health Care Rights. The library, part of the Altadena Library District, lists the program under workshops and classes, health and wellness, educational and community, and sets it for adults 19 or older.

It is not the only thing on the branch calendar that day. English as a Second Language classes meet Monday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to noon, and an AI Essentials workshop with Bridge the Digital Divide runs the same evening at 6 p.m. The branch is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays.
