Dog is my co-pilot: Last night, the Pasadena Humane Society held a sold out fundraiser/lecture at the historic Keyes Bungalow in Altadena, which also happens to be the home of dog social scientist Jane Brackman, Ph.D, whom you may know from these pages as Dr. Barkman. Dr. B. delivered a humorous talk on the basic, nagging dog questions (Why do they shake? Why do they wag their tails? What dogs don’t shed? Can they see TV?) For your erudition, she has gathered the answers to these and other questions on her website, Dr. Barkman Speaks.
