Standing up for compassion

Father Gregory Boyle gets a standing ovation at the Altadena Senior Center Tuesday night, May 1.  The Friends of the Altadena Library hosted Boyle in a presentation about his work in East Los Angeles with Homeboy Industries, turning the lives of gang members around.  Boyle is the author of Tattoos on the Heart, a memoir about his work with gang members.
