Surprises do abound!
For once upon a time , it seems,
on Avenue named LAKE,
there really was a lake found there;
a perfect street namesake!

For once upon a time , it seems,

there really was a lake found there;
a perfect street namesake!
Apparently, in empty lot,
the rain filled hole by chance.
It filled that empty Cyclop’s eye.
MOSQUITOES will break dance!
Though, maybe it’s just Nature’s way,
recycling that space.
For I was looking just today
from that recycling place.
Or—maybe it’s a hint to us,
perhaps to grow a park.
A lake is growing in our midst
on corner, oh so stark!
