Poetry corner: gnome on the range

Oh give gnome a home
in the sycamore zone,
where the spirit’s refreshed all the day.
Where never is heard a discouraging word
for gnome, he loves all holidays.
Gnome, gnome in the zone
where mystery lives all the day.
For never is heard benefactor’s name word
but kindness is heard all the day.
In Dena land here, where this gnome love is clear,
for gnome life is grand on this earth.
For the spirit is right
for a gnome worthy life
and mystery a fine thing to play.
Small humanoid man
with a history grand,
in Latin it’s” genomos” you know.
A spirit of earth, and tradition gives birth
for sycamore wants gnome to stay.

A spirit of earth, and tradition gives birth
for sycamore wants gnome to stay.
Your house life is blest with mysterious guest;
how lovely a neighbor you have.
Year long holiday, that’s the right way to play
and gnome guest is truly a gift.
Gnome, gnome, in the zone,
where mystery lives all the day.
