Poetry corner: fork-lore

We like the idea of selling commemorative forks! Gloriana Casey, on the case again …

“FORK in the Road Solutions!”

The Coffee Gallery needs help,
Community will race
just like those western movie scripts,
Pitch in! And save this place!

Now don’t forget that Coffee place
gave birth to “FORK IN ROAD”
For humor is a priceless gift,
and Artistry’s true code!

Some  marketing– it seems to me,
though on the FORKING side,
will help top gather FORKISH Funds
to keep the music live!

So–how bout this? A true FORK Off,
with FORKS, so plastic white.
then add a ribbon on the top,
and sell them through the night!

 

A sing -off and fund raiser too!
“99 FORKS on the Wall”
So customers must sing the song,
until you’ve sold them all!

And then— an auction, people’s FORKS,
with annotated tale.
A true life of a local FORK;
perhaps it’s skied at Vail?

Tall Tale  FORK Night, and that’s good too,
with comics so sincere;.
We’d get to hear FORK’S point of View,
“George FORKington slept here!”

I’ve hear of music played with spoons
upon the crystal glass.
Why not give equal time to FORKS
 and  music comes to pass!

FORK in the ROAD, a problem new
so rally round those tines!

 to  keep the best of times!

for Coffee Gallery !
