Community members and organizations will be honored April 13 as part of the annual benefit fundraising dinner for Mentoring & Partnership for Youth Development (MPYD), to be held at Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena.
Keynote speaker will be Judge Victor Wright of the Los Angeles County Superior Court. Master of ceremonies will be Cameron Turner.
This year’s honorees are: The Vons/Safeway Foundation (Cardinal Paint Award); Helen Goodman (Volunteer Award); San Gabriel Valley National Council of Negro Women (Community Partner Award); Prof. Beverly Tate (Angel Award); and John Muir High School alum Miguel Reyes (Academic for Success Award).
