Moving sale: Margaret Gruesbeck and Leslie Fleming-Mitchell are holding two families’ worth of moving sale Sunday, May 5, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM at 345 E. Altadena Drive just east of Marengo. There will be garden related items, books, toys, children’s books, speaker stands and music gear, and fineries for the home.
Dog licenses: Chatter from the newsgroups says that the Animal Control officers are going door-to-door in different neighborhoods, checking to see that Mittens and Bowser are properly registered with the county. They do this shake-down about every year, so don’t be surprised. Better to get ‘em licensed on the spot than pay the fine later!
Rancho helps Five Acres: Chris Larson at the Rancho Bar writes: “The Rancho holds a few fundraisers a year for Five Acres, one at Christmas time and one or two others throughout the year. We held the latest fundraiser on St. Patty’s Day, and thanks to the good work by the Rancho crew, the music from Jet Trego, Neal Sherman, Dave Fertig & the entire band, and everyone who showed up…I’m happy to report we sent Five Acres a check for $759.” Bravo!
