Danny’s Farm gets $500 from Fancy Food Truck Friday
by Timothy Rutt
Danny’s Farm, the formerly-in-Altadena organization that provides educational programs and employment for persons with autism and other developmental disabilities, received $500 from May’s Fancy Food Truck Friday event.
Webster’s Community Pharmacy, Webster’s Wine & Spirits, and the participating food trucks raised the money from proceeds of the monthly event. Danny’s Farm is the sponsor of the fancy food truck event.
According to Cathy Gott, the contribution was welcome as Danny’s Farm is expanding its mission, as children with autism become adults with autism and will need to find meaningful employment as they age out of school and other services.
