Altadena Station’s Crime Blotter for the Week of August 23, 2015

Sunday, August 23^rd

6:00 PM – Daniel Sandoval, 31 years old of Altadena, was arrested for battery on family members in the 2100 block of Glenrose Avenue.  He was additionally charged with battery on a paramedic and resisting arrest.

An identity theft report was documented from the 3100 block of Ewing Avenue.

Monday, August 24^th

Between 12:00 AM and 9:00 AM– A vandalism occurred in the 100 block of West Ventura Street.  Unknown suspect(s) scratched two separate vehicles parked in a driveway.

1:30 PM- A petty theft occurred in the 2000 block of Mar Vista Avenue.  Unknown suspect(s) stole clothing and a pair of shoes from a parcel left on the porch by UPS.

6:30 PM – Jaime Flores, 50 years old of Altadena, was arrested for carrying a concealed dagger, public intoxication, and giving false information to a peace officer in the area of Woodbury Road and Raymond Avenue.

Tuesday, August 25^th

9:00 AM – Porfirio Guerrero, 23 years old of Altadena, was arrested in the 2700 block of Fair Oaks Avenue for domestic violence.

Between August 19^th and August 25^th – A residential burglary occurred in the 800 block of East Calaveras Street.  Unknown suspect(s) broke through the rear slider doors and ransacked the house.  Stolen was a silver MacBook Pro laptop and a black 19” computer monitor.

4:31 PM – Marc Jones, 31 years old of Pasadena, was arrested near Montana Street and El Sereno Avenue for possession of marijuana for sale.

Between 11:59 AM and 7:20 PM – A gray 2006 Chrysler 300 was stolen from the 1600 block of Dominion Avenue.  The vehicle was recovered the following day several blocks from where it was stolen.

Wednesday, August 26^th

Between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM – A white Ford F250 truck was stolen from the 800 block of West Altadena Drive.  Vehicle still outstanding.

Thursday, August 27^th

3:43 AM – Zuri Ordonez, 20 years old of Altadena, was arrested near the 200 block of Altadena Drive for being drunk in public.

11:07 AM – A petty theft of recyclables occurred in the 2000 block of Raymond Avenue.

9:30 PM – Rodrigo Zaula-Soto, 23 years old of Altadena, was arrested for domestic violence in the 200 block of West Mountain View Street.

Friday, August 28^th

7:55 AM – A petty theft occurred in the 2500 block of Washington Boulevard.  Unknown suspect(s) stole the victim’s purse containing $200.00, a driver’s license, cosmetic items, and miscellaneous cards after the victim left the purse unattended.

2:00 PM – Patrick Gorse, 60 years old of Altadena, was arrested for making criminal threats in the 100 block of Marathon Road.

6:00 PM – Stephen Ross, 60 years old of Altadena, was arrested for drinking in public near Fair Oaks Avenue and Mendocino Street.

8:33 PM – Donald McCall, 53 years old of Altadena, was arrested near Fair Oaks Avenue and Calaveras Street for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Saturday, August 29^th

Between 12:00 AM and 8:50 AM – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 2600 block of Fair Oaks Avenue. Unknown suspect(s) broke into the victim’s locked truck and stole two DeWalt drills and other miscellaneous tools.
