Have You Seen him? 11-year-old Missing from Altadena Group Home

Altadena sheriff’s detectives were Monday searching for an 11- year-old boy who ran away from a group home in Altadena, and are asking you to keep an eye for him.

The boy, Kayson McLane, is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 131 pounds, and with black hair and brown eyes.

Authorities said McLane was last seen about 5 p.m. Sunday walking away from the Hathaway Sycamores group home in the 2900 block of El Nido Avenue. They said the boy had run away in the past and may be hanging out in the nearby Pasadena or Altadena area.

Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Altadena Station, at (626) 798-1131.
