Altadena’s Crime Blotter for the Week of Saturday, July 6th

Sunday, June 30th

10:45 AM – A battery occurred in the 2900 block of El Nido Drive. Suspects were taken into custody.

Tuesday, July 2nd

8:37 AM – A vehicle burglary occurred in the area of Altadena Drive and Roosevelt Avenue. Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the window. Loss: unknown.
12:00 PM – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 1200 block of Sonoma Drive. Suspect(s) entered the vehicle via unknown means. Stolen: vehicle registration and insurance card.
8:00 PM – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 2200 block of N. Mar Vista Avenue. Stolen: brown Ferragamo wallet and currency.
9:00 PM – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 2200 block of N. Mar Vista Avenue. Stolen: black/white Jansport backpack, silver calculator and a green notebook.
11:00 PM – A spousal battery occurred in the 2300 block of Canyada Avenue. Suspect has been identified.

Wednesday, July 3rd

3:00 PM – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 1600 block of New York Drive. Vehicle described as a red 1993 Chevrolet S10.

Thursday, July 4th

12:00 AM – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 1200 block of Morada Place. Stolen: black portfolio, black socks, pink sunglasses and black Kate Spade prescription glasses.
11:30 PM – An assault with a deadly weapon occurred in the area of Fair Oaks Avenue and Woodbury Road. Suspect was taken into custody.

Friday, July 5th

7:30 PM – A commercial vandalism occurred in the 2600 block of N. Lincoln Avenue. Suspect was taken into custody.
8:45 PM – An assault with a deadly weapon occurred in the 2900 block of El Nido Drive. Suspect was taken into custody.
11:00 PM – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 100 block of W. Calaveras Street. Vehicle damage: shattered window.

Saturday, July 6th

6:30 AM – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 500 block of W. Woodbury Road. Suspect(s) entered the vehicle via unknown means. Stolen: gold necklace, gold St. Jude pendant, white gold wedding bands and engagement ring.
6:50 PM – Damien Garnica, 38 years old of Pasadena was arrested in the area of Hill Avenue and Washington Boulevard for possession of a controlled substance.
