Altadena’s Crime Blotter for the Week of Saturday, January 4th

Sunday, December 29th

4:54 AM – Jesus Carrillo, 22 years old of Altadena was arrested in the 300 block of E. Woodbury Road for drinking in public.
Between 9:00 PM and 9:15 PM – A grand theft occurred in the 1700 block of Oakwood Street. Stolen: silver Macbook Pro.
Between 9:20 PM and 9:40 PM – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 2100 block of Lincoln Avenue. Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the window. Stolen: brown leather purse containing personal documents.

Monday, December 30th

Between 6:00 PM and 7:45 AM (Tuesday) – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 1900 block of Sinaloa Avenue. Stolen: green purse, blue Coach wallet, and credit cards.
Between 6:30 PM and 6:45 AM (Tuesday) – A burglary occurred in the 2600 block of Boulder Road. Suspect(s) entered the location via the unsecured garage. Stolen: light blue Ping golf club bag containing black golf clubs, black and white Scott ski pole, white ski boots, black and green Atomic pair of skis, ski jackets and pants.
9:41 PM – Jose Sosa, 26 years old of Altadena was arrested in the area of Sacramento Street and Lake Avenue for public intoxication.

Tuesday, December 31st

10:28 AM – A shoplifting incident occurred in the 2200 block of Lake Avenue. Stolen: clothing, slippers, glue gun, and hygiene products.
4:50 PM – An assault with a deadly weapon occurred in the 2200 block of N. Lincoln Avenue. Suspect has been identified.
7:01 PM – An assault with a deadly weapon occurred in the 100 block of W. Altadena Drive. Investigation is on-going.
9:19 PM – A domestic violence incident occurred in the 500 block of Vermont Street. Suspect was taken into custody.
Between 10:00 PM and 11:01 AM (Wednesday) – A commercial burglary occurred in the 800 block of E. Mariposa Avenue. Damage: shattered window.

Wednesday, January 1st

3:00 AM – An assault with a deadly weapon occurred in the 500 block of W. Vermont Street. Investigation is on-going.

Thursday, January 2nd

2:09 AM – Alexander Bin, 29 years old of Pasadena was arrested in the 2000 block of N. Maiden Lane for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Friday, January 3rd

8:30 PM – A residential vandalism occurred in the 2300 block of Grandeur Avenue. Damage: cosmetic damage to front door.
10:55 PM – An assault with a deadly weapon occurred in the area of Casitas Avenue and Royce Street. Investigation is on-going.

Saturday, January 4th

Between 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 2100 block of N. Lincoln Avenue. Damage: scratches to body of vehicle.
