Altadena Station’s Crime Blotter for the Week of June 21, 2015

Sunday, June 21^st

11:00 AM – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 2300 block of E. Washington Boulevard.  Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the rear passenger window.  Property Stolen:  orange Home Depot tool box, keys.

 

11:00 AM – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 1500 block of N. Allen Avenue.  Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by unknown means.  Property Stolen: black Garmin GPS, handicap placard.

 

8:15 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 1700 block of Midlothian Drive.  Suspect(s) entered the residence via unknown means.  Property Stolen:  stainless steel dishwasher, white tub, linens, rugs.  *Location is vacant, suspects possibly known.  On-going investigation.

 

Monday, June 22^nd

6:02 PM – Raeanna Williams was arrested in the area of Glenrose Avenue and Figueroa Street for possession of marijuana for sales.

 

6:30 PM – A grand theft occurred at 24 Hr. Fitness, 2180 Lincoln Avenue.  Suspect(s) entered the men’s locker room and removed a lock from a gym locker.  Property Stolen:  black Samsung Note 3, black/silver Motorola Razor, black Samsung Galaxy S3, brown wallet, keys, clothing, currency.

 

Tuesday, June 23^rd

No significant incidents to report.

 

Wednesday, June 24^th

2:01 AM – A battery occurred in the 3000 block of La Corona.  Suspect described as a female, Black, 20-25, 505, 130, black hair, brown eyes.  Victim stated she was taking pictures of a room she rents and was confronted by the suspect.  The suspect is related to the victim’s landlord.  Investigation is on-going.

 

6:30 PM – Joshua Muema was arrested in the parking structure of 24 Hr. Fitness, 2180 Lincoln Av.  Suspect taken into custody for possession of stolen property.  On-going investigation due to other thefts from the same location.

 

Thursday, June 25^th

No significant incidents to report.

 

Friday, June 26^th

4:54 AM – Montrese Jackson was arrested in the 200 block of E. Altadena Drive for assault with a deadly weapon (knife).  Suspect was taken into custody for stabbing an acquaintance during a physical altercation.  Both involved parties where consuming alcohol at the time of incident.  Injuries to victim are non-life threatening.

 

4:00 PM – A vehicle burglary occurred at 24 Hr. Fitness, 2180 Lincoln Avenue.  Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the front passenger window.  Property Stolen:  blue/black lunch box, gray handbag, misc. paperwork.

 

4:08 PM – Brendan Gripp and Jess Willard were arrested in the area of Allen Avenue and Sonoma Dr. for drinking in public.

 

4:40 PM – Rosendo Bonilla was arrested in the 800 block of W. Altadena Drive for being drunk in public.

 

10:00 PM – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 700 block of La Vina Lane.  Suspect(s) broke the side view mirror, scratched the window and side of the vehicle.

 

Saturday, June 27^th
