Altadena Sheriff’s Station Seeks Public’s Help to Find Suspect Who Allegedly Stole Cellphone

The Altadena Sheriff’s Station is seeking the public’s help in locating a man who is suspected of stealing a cellphone from a Verizon Wireless store in Altadena last month.

The store is located at 2230 Lincoln Avenue.

Deputies said the theft occurred at about 9 p.m. when the suspect, described as male Hispanic, about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and between 160 and 180 pounds, entered the store and asked an employee about cellphone plans.

As the employee retrieved a brochure for him, the suspect grabbed a cellphone from the display, and ran out of the store.

The suspect had short dark hair, a goatee, and was wearing a blue jacket, white shirt, blue jeans and white shoes, according to the description.

Anyone with information about the suspect is advised to contact the Altadena Sheriff’s Station at (626) 798-1131.
