Kealing Holding on to Lead
Challenger Felita Kealing continues to lead Kim Kenne in her efforts to pull off the near impossible feat of defeating incumbent. in early returns Tuesday night in the Pasadena Unified School District Board of Education’s District 1 race. If her lead holds, she would unseat a sitting board member.
Kealing, a school student recruiter, had 56.29% of the vote to Kenne’s 43.71%. Fewer than 5,000 votes had been counted in the race.
In other school board races, Michelle Richardson Bailey and Cynthia Torres continued to lead in their races as votes continue to roll in.

Meanwhile, Torres had 59.02%, to Dennis J. McNamara’s 41.53%.
