2 Boys Go Missing in Altadena

Deputies asked the public’s help in finding two young boys who went missing in Altadena on Monday.

Ivan Molina, 11, and Johnny Martell, 12, were both last seen about 11 a.m. in the 2100 block of North Lake Avenue, near Eliot Arts Magnet Academy, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Molina was described as Latino, about 5 feet tall and 162 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes, Deputy Eva Jimenez of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said in a written statement. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, gray shorts and a black backpack.

Martell was described as white, about 5 feet 2 inches tall and 207 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, Jimenez said. He was wearing a black shirt and black pants.

The families of both missing boys were concerned and asking for the public’s help, the deputy said.

Anyone with information was asked to contact the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau’s Missing Persons Unit at (323) 890-5500. Tips may also be submitted anonymously to L.A. Regional Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
