You might think that student art shows are an opportunity for low quality pieces, that is not the case with this show.  While some of her students may never grace commercial gallery walls since they have other endeavors that are their life’s focus, there is no doubt that the images presented are exciting and compelling.

The show is already hanging and will continue until July.

Pictured: “Clam Bake”  by Jody Berges.  This watercolor painting is part of the show, and was painted during one of Donna Barnes-Roberts’ watercolor classes.

Barnes-Roberts is also starting new watercolor classes in June, and her website has all the details.

If you ever have the chance to see Donna Barnes-Robert’s watercolors in person, please do. She does beautiful work.
