In Census Tract 4602, councilman Greg Middleton will be running for election against Rebecca Haussling. Middleton, who was appointed to fill the seat after the resignation of former councilman Herbert Simmons, is actually running for the first time.
Census Tract 4610 will see two newcomers facing off to succeed Gene Campbell: Gail Casburn, co-owner of the Altadena Ale & Wine House, against businessman Brent Musson. Musson ran last year and was defeated by Tecumseh Shackelford.
Another new face is Gretchen Seager for the seat in CT 4601, who is running unopposed. Phil Barela presently holds that seat.
Amy Cienfuegos, another newcomer, is running unopposed in CT 4611.
Incumbents running unopposed are Doug Colliflower (CT 4603.01), Ken Roberts (4603.02), Jamie Bissner (CT 4612) and Lorie Judson (CT 4613).
Another council packet was submitted by “C.R. Legal SR,” who gave an address that doesn’t seem to exist on North Lincoln Ave. Our best guess is that is frequent candidate Rev. C.R. Tilleman, who submitted an application but was disqualified last year.
