Reader Kim Alvarez called us to say that "Fox," a neighborhood Maine Coon cat, has been about 30 feet up in a tree at Santa Rosa Ave. and Deodara for about the past three days.  Fox is yowling, but apparently has no desire to come down.  Alvarez tells us the fire department has been called, but it's out of their baliwick.  So the neighborhood is wondering what to do.  Anyone with a long ladder or a cherrypicker want to help out?  Call Kim at 589-7854.
