The Altadena Town Council monthly meeting will be Tues., April 19, starting at 7 PM at the Altadena Community Center, 730 E. Altadena Dr.
There will also be a closed session starting at 6 PM. According to chair Gino Sund, the closed session is needed to discuss “the recommendation by the Executive Committee concerning the appointments to the PUSD Districting Task Force. We will discuss the merits of the applicants but will not vote on the matter in closed session, as always, votes will be in public. We will need to discuss the candidates in private to allow for a frank discussion and so as not to embarrass anyone, especially residents willing to volunteer for this difficult task.”
