Altadena Sheriff Lt. Joseph Dempsey sent out a message that the Altadena Sheriff Station is now answering its own phone calls again. During the interminable and still ongoing renovation of Altadena Station, all phone calls were routed to the Crescenta Valley station.

Anyone calling the business line (626-798-1131) will reach the desk at Altadena. 911 calls will continue to be routed to Crescenta Valley first.

The lobby at 780 E. Altadena Dr. (which includes a public restroom) is now open for business as construction is being completed.  There are also plans to install a secure dropoff box to dispose of unused, expired, or illegal drugs once construction is complete.  Crescenta Valley is currently the closest sheriff station with such a dropoff.
