Two newcomers won the only disputed seats in today’s Altadena Town Council elections.
In CT 4602, Herbert Simmons won over Bill Westphal, 153-99. In CT 4611, Guarav Malhotra won over Cynthia Tilleman, 52-24.
In a light election, 484 ballots were counted, with a handful of provisional incomplete, or incorrect ballots. The winners of the competitive census tracts won by comfortable-enough margins that these ballot would have made no difference.

Colleen was up early this morning scouring the Sunday PSN for results, just to be certain I got a vote.
NO RESULTS, OMG!
I told her we oughta check the A-blog and sure ‘nuf there it was!! Now my wife gets a night to herself once a month once again.
Thanks again, Tim, for all you do to expose our Town and all of it’s events including the election and thanks to all those that sacrificed a piece of their day to sit at the polls as well as run the thing.
