Scissors Paper Rock Salon is ready for November with two events:
Movember: Since November is also Movember (“Mo” being an abbreviation for moustache, part of a monthwide initiative for men’s health), the bros are invited to help support and raise awareness for men’s health by coming in for a hot towel treatment, exfoliant treatment, or moustache trim for only $10. Women can get in the game by getting a blue hair extension to show their support, also for $10.
All sales from each of these treatments or services will be donated to men’s health initiatives, and will be going on the whole month of Movember
Meet & Greet: On November 19, the salon will have a meet-and-greet from 5-9 PM for two new stylists: Certified Redken Colorist Frine Ramirez and Pureology Educator Angel Prado. There will be special deals for the evening:
Scissors Paper Rock is at 1864 N. Allen Avenue.

There are many unsung heroes in our midst that are caretakers in our hospitals, rest homes and convalescent Homes that work tirelessly with diligence and compassion to assist the injured and elderly. You seldom meet them until you need them for your personal injury or illness . I am very thankful for their dedication and care. They are great people doing a fantastic job, quietly and carefully assisting the injured, aged and I salute them On this Veterans Day for the dedication, compassion and care they provide to those in need of their vocations.
