Two events today (Sat.) that you shouldn't miss:

• Christ the Shepherd Lutheran Church Spring Jamboree going on from 11 AM-3 PM today at the church, 185 Altadena Drive (corner of Glenrose).   Activities include a giant fish fry “with all the fixins,”  bake sale, and arts and crafts from 10,000 Villages, African Team Ministries and local artists.  Proceeds to benefit CTS’ work with community programs and services.  
• Webster's Fine Stationers (Altadenablog sponsor) is hosting an afternoon with journalist/author Andre Coleman from 4-7 PM. Lori and Scott Webster tell us, "Enjoy snacks, libations and stimulating conversation with Mr. Coleman, who will be signing his books that are purchased at this event." Coleman will be autographing his books,  Blackbirds, Vol. 1, and A Liar's Tale. Webster's Fine Stationers is at 2450 N. Lake, Suite B.
