Rhythms of the Village, Altadena’s new store of African-themed art, clothing, and gifts, announces its schedule of workshops and classes.

Tuesday, 6:30-7:30 PM: Drum class for those that have little to some drumming experience. $12

Wednesday, 6:30-8 PM: Fiber arts, crafts dealing with yarns and fabrics, $10.

Thursday, 6:30-8 PM: Crafts for Big People: crafts that caregivers teach the young. $10.

Friday, 6:30-7:30 PM: Drum Circle:  free style playing, free.

Saturday, 9:30-10:30 AM, Yoruba language class, $12; and 10:30 AM-11:30 AM, Igbo (Nigerian) language class, $12.
