“Read for the Record” is a nationwide literacy awareness event, where readers from around the country try to set a world record for the number of people reading the same book on the same day. The Altadena Library District will be one of many special events throughout the nation.
Readings will be at the main library, 600 E. Mariposa, at 4 PM, and the Bob Lucas branch library at 4:30 PM. Participating children will receive their own limited edition copy of the book.
