Received a notice from the Altadena Sheriff station that calls are continuing about sightings of a prowler in the President Streets neighborhood.  In the past two weeks, the Sheriff’s Department has received several calls regarding a prowler in the 1300 and 1400 block of Coolidge Avenue. The suspect has been described as a male African American, approximately 20 years old, 6 feet tall, thin build, with an afro, wearing all black clothing. The suspect has been seen in the back yard of several residents in the evening hours.

According to the email:

If you see anyone in your back yard call 911. Do not confront the suspect. Tell the dispatcher exactly what you see and attempt to give a detailed description of the suspect, including: height, weight, clothing, race, hair style, age, etc. Also if the suspect leaves tell the dispatcher the direction the suspect was seen leaving.

If you see any suspicious activity in your neighborhood call the Altadena Sheriff’s Station at 626-798-1131. If it is an emergency call 911 (someone in your backyard in the evening or nighttime hours would be considered an emergency).
