Today is the start of "Project: Altadena," a group photography project chronicling a month in the life of our town. 100 disposable cameras will be going out starting today. Here's what Molly Tierney of Photography by Walt, 2455 N. Lake, has to say about it:
FIRST 100 PARTICIPANTS!!
The only criteria is that you must live in Altadena.
Cameras will be available at Photography by Walt July 1st
I will open early on July 1st at 8:00 am
Normal Business hours are Tue-Fri 10:00-5:30 and Sat 10:00-4:00
(Sat studio may have on location appointments so you may call 626 797 7207)
Cost $20.00
Last day to drop off cameras is Friday July 31st
The show will be hosted in Altadena on Saturday September 5th in conjunction with other fine events from The Altadena Arts Coalition and the local businesses.

This sounds like a fun project. I can’t wait to get may camera. Kudos to Molly Tierney and Photography by Walt.
And Timothy . . . what a wonderful idea and thoughtful gesture providing cameras to those who may not be able to afford them. My hats off to you.

Thank you for the two cameras you donated for the Sheriff’s Youth Activities League. They are now in the custody of Deputy Estrada and will be distributed shortly.
