OR–fire hydrants or bus stop.
Six feet from any bench.
Where will you spread your current news?
News life is no sweet cinch!

NO chipping paint nor graffiti,
nor rust nor broken parts.
No obscene pictures either there,
that might attack some hearts!

Poor news rack stands forlorn—ah me,
and few can stand the heat.!
One hundred forty-one dollars,
for one to stand near street.

One hundred eighty-six for two
and three? The cost is more.
TWO hundred twenty-six for them.
EXTRA! EXTRA! —no more.

Oh, wait a minute! Do I spy
a tinted glass? Oh me.
Apparently, you’ve parked too long,
so paying—you will be!

Now where is VIN DIESEL?  I ask.
A movie we should see.
As news racks make a break for it,
and RACING they will be!

A movie, YES! As news racks bolt,
on racing cars—a RIFF!
The title? Yes, I’ve got it now:
“Fast and the Furious: ALTADENA Drift!
