It’s MOTHER’S Day! The time is now!
Although you’re MOM each day.
Though often overlooked you are,
today’s your special day.
So MOTHER, MOM, or MAMA,
MRS. or as MS,
we celebrate your year long job,
and M your letter is!
MAGELLAN- like, you sail the year,
keep family in shipshape.
MAGICIAN too, with all your skills,
MAGNANIMOUS your state!
Like MAXWELL, so electrically,
MAGNETIC is your force.
You’re MAGNA CARTA of the home
to guide the family course.
MAGNA CUM LAUDE, you’re the top!
To you— a cheer we raise.
The MELTING POT of family life;
life’s recipes amaze!
To you— a cheer we raise.
The MELTING POT of family life;
life’s recipes amaze!
And MISTY-eyed, you survey all,
this MONTAGE of your life.
So MOTHERS, MAY I — say to you,
this day —for your delight!
For it’s your day, go MUSTANG wild,
regale in your MYSTIQUE.
In fact, if you enjoy today,
then make it last all week!
A day, a week, for years to come,
your hand builds family.
The METRONOME of family life,
A MUSE, eternally!
