In KINGDOM —-Animalia,
PHYLUM——— is Chordata.
Now,  look around your backyard then,
maybe one you’ve gotta!

MAMMALIA —is the Class, you see,
ORDER———Carnivora!,
 He eats up those small rodents then;
Gopher kind–he’ll  score-a!

And the FAMILY name is Felidae:
the GENUS is called Lynx.
Ms Schoeman has one in her yard;
YES! Nature works methinks!

The stumpy tail, is called  a BOB;
great  balance he’ll achieve..
This lovely cat with strength and grace;
he sure can BOB and weave.

So on this great Thanksgiving week,
Nature—– she does share.
Perhaps you too will spy this cat
a –  leaping  through the air.

For THANKFULNESS  is all around;
just stop and then reflect.
THANKS-Giving is here every day,
and BOB’s just one effect!
