The District 1 seat, representing La Cañada Flintridge, western Altadena and western Pasadena, is held by Geoffrey Baum, who is facing off against challenger Steven Gibson. District 3 represents northwest Pasadena and Altadena, and is held by Connie Rey Castro, who is being challenged by Berlinda Brown.
